"RUGGED FILIPINOS"

A sudden event, such as an accident or natural catastrophe or calamity, that causes great damage or loss of life is called disaster. Risk is a situation involving exposure to danger. Danger is the possibility of suffering harm or injury. There is a program from our government that is the National Resilience Month with the theme of “KAHANDAAN SA SAKUNA’T PELIGRO PARA SA TUNAY NA PAGBABAGO.”

This program covers the areas of Disaster Risk Reduction Management (DRRM), these are Disaster Preparedness, Disaster Response and Disaster Rehabilitation and Recovery. We must be serious what the government will do for us because this is for our own sake.

We Filipinos are resilient in a situation that happens in our lives like tragic. But we do not want that our family and ourselves that have may happen something to us. So the government have this program for us Filipinos to be more aware about disaster and they will be helping us to be trained like earthquake drill or seminars.

Let encourage other people to take it seriously like the earthquake drills so we are well prepared when the disaster strikes in our areas. Do not panic my friend. “I say empty your mind, be formless, shapeless like water. Now, if you put water into a cup it becomes the cup, you put water into a bottle it becomes the bottle, you put into a teapot it becomes the teapot. The water can flow or it can crash, be water my friend.” -Bruce Lee
