THE LOVE FROM HIM

WE are in that special season once again, a season of joy, of peace, of great tidings. A season when we celebrate the birth of Christ the King, the redeemer of mankind! Jesus is the reason for the season.

Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Christ. A time for us to understand the lessons from Jesus & reflect on them. Jesus brought a new religion based on love & the vision of a God who is full of compassion & forgiveness; a vision of doing everything with a positive mindset & from a place of love.

We have to celebrate it with our loving presence instead of feasting. What great joy it would be if we come together as family and share that loving presence with each other even without the partying. What great joy there is if we also celebrate Christmas that same loving presence together with a sick or a hungry neighbor. Or what about spending Christmas with those who are abandoned by their loved ones? In the words of Mother Teresa, “Being unwanted, unloved, uncared for, forgotten by everybody, I think that is a much greater hunger, a much greater poverty than the person who has nothing to eat.”

Image result for LOVE ON CHRISTMASGod does not expect us to do great things this Christmas. We only need to do things with great love. Finally, this Christmas, may we contemplate God’s humility in Jesus, his divinity hidden beneath the poverty of a the Holy Infant wrapped in swaddling clothes and laid in a manger; the Master and Creator of the universe reduced to the helplessness of a child. Once we accept this paradox, may we discover the truth behind it and that truth is His Love. The First Noel, the Savior becomes one of us, our companion along the trying times. May we all take his hand which he stretches out to us: a hand which seeks to take nothing from us, but only to give.

This quarter gave me sad and happy, sad 'cause we will now completing this school year and we will leaving each other 'cause we have not the same path that we will taking in, happy 'cause we are now closer to our future to become successful someday. I was able to overcome these challenges through accepting these, that there is no permanent in this world, everything in this world changes. And it is really our time to take another step of our journey but we will be depart from each other. Indeed, Fourth Grading Period is very a tough period I've been faced of that makes me cry. But I'm glad that I surpassed all those sadness and I'm very happy because I learned so much and experienced many unforgettable moments that we have been made us classmates and we're not just a classmates, we are brothers and sisters, we grow together and will bring the victory for our life.
